GoodLaws James King Gains Avma Accreditation
Partner and Solicitor of GoodLaw Solicitors, James King, has gained accreditation on the Action Against Medical Accidents (AvMA) Clinical Negligence Specialist panel. Recognition on AvMA’s prestigious specialist panel demonstrates a commitment to patient safety and to securing compensation for claimants when medical treatment goes wrong.
James has specialised in the complex field of medical (or clinical) negligence for almost 15 years. His practice sees him acting for both very young and older clients and all in between. He also acts on behalf of bereaved families who wish to pursue fatal accident damages following the death of a loved one.
Having been recognised for his work in medical negligence by the UK’s foremost patient safety charity is a huge source of pride for James. He says:
“I am delighted to have been accepted onto the AvMA Clinical Negligence Specialist panel and, in having gained this accreditation, I join other well known lawyers who specialise in medical negligence litigation. I aim to offer my clients a bespoke service and the reassurance that I will apply the skills and experience learned over many years of practicing in complex negligence litigation when handling their cases. I am also very excited to be working closely with AvMA and participating in the valuable work that they do. A few years ago, I worked as a volunteer on AvMA’s telephone helpline. This ‘coal-face’ work helped me appreciate just how many people experience substandard medical treatment and that, more often than not, AvMA is their first port of call.”
