Government Funded Mediation Scheme Extended

The Government has announced it is to offer a further cash injection to continue the successful mediation voucher scheme.  The Government has been offering a £500 contribution to fund mediation without a financial (means) test being necessary so that all people who may benefit from mediation are able to access it with support.

The funding promotes alternative dispute resolution and to try and help families reach conclusions without the need for contested court proceedings.  Mediation is an opportunity for people to discuss their dispute and work towards a resolution without the need for lengthy, costly and often emotionally fraught litigation.
