Peggy is a Senior Associate in the family department at GoodLaw, specialising in Public Law Children Act matters. Peggy can advise parents and other family members about children’s services’ involvement in family life, she has extensive experience in such matters, both pre-proceedings and during care proceedings.

Peggy has worked in Family Law since 2012. Prior to joining GoodLaw, she worked at a central London law firm specialising in both children law and mental health law. Peggy also has experience of advising clients who have been detained in hospital under the Mental Health Act.

Peggy is mindful of how stressful it can be to go through care proceedings and strives to support her clients through the process with kindness and care. She is experienced in assisting clients with learning difficulties and/or neurodivergence to ensure they can participate as fully as possible in proceedings.

Peggy usually represents clients under Legal Aid and offers free 30-minute consultations.

Peggy works with the University of Sussex Family Law Clinic to offer shadowing opportunities.
