Lauren is an Associate Solicitor in the family department at GoodLaw, specialising in Public Law Children Act matters. Lauren represents parents at Public Law Outline meetings (also known as Meeting Before Proceedings or Pre-Proceedings meetings) with Children’s Services, and also represents parents, grandparents and joined parties in Care Proceedings.
Lauren undertakes her own Court advocacy where possible and prides herself on being approachable and empathetic towards clients. Lauren’s objective is to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients, to communicate in simple, accessible language and to put clients at ease throughout the proceedings.
Lauren is experienced in assisting clients who are neurodiverse and/or have learning difficulties.
Lauren has experience dealing with cases involving non-accidental injuries, fabricated or induced illness, and Court of Protection issues.
Lauren qualified as a Resolution Accredited Specialist in 2023.
