Lauren graduated with an Honours degree in Law at the University of Nottingham in 2016, and then completed the Legal Practice Course and achieved a Masters in Law in 2017. Lauren was admitted as a Solicitor in September 2020.

Lauren represents parents at Public Law Outline meetings (also known as Meeting Before Proceedings or Pre-Proceedings meetings) with Children’s Services. Lauren also represents parents, grandparents and joined parties in Care Proceedings. Lauren undertakes her own Court advocacy where possible and prides herself on being approachable and empathetic towards clients. Lauren’s objective is to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients, to communicate in simple, accessible language and to put clients at ease throughout the proceedings.

Lauren qualified as a Resolution Accredited Specialist in 2023.
