Jane Wells is a family lawyer and mediator with over 30 years of experience.
She is a specialist in children cases and represents both children and parents in care proceedings.
Jane has been a member of the Law Society Children Panel for over 20 years. She is also a fully accredited Mediator and can mediate on all issues and is trained to offer direct consultations with children. She is also a trained supervisor for mediation.
Jane does represent clients in private law financial and children cases as well, and is friendly and approachable and aims to offer a high-quality service to all of her clients. She is also a past President of the Sussex Law Society.

In this case, Jane acted for a child in a high-profile adoption case which was heard in both the High Court and the Court of Appeal - West Sussex County Council & Others v FM NP & T 2018 EWHC 1702 (Fam)
This was a case about the interplay between care proceedings and a Forced Marriage application, and which involved 3 children who had been exposed to domestic and emotional abuse.
